110kV Current Transformer Summary

It is current transformer used for current, energy measurement and relay protection of 110kv, 50HZ Electric Power System.

This transformer is an oil-immersed product consisting of oil tank, transformer body, porcelain bushing, bellow.

The transformer body is composed of ‘U’ type primary windings

and secondary windings; the main insulation is capacitor oil-paper insulation, wrapped on2

the primary winding by high-voltage cable paper, it divided by many capacitor screens, and

the inner screen connects high potential and the external screen(or called earth screen or

terminal screen) connects ground. The primary winding is divided by four outline terminals

in two sections. every outlet terminals of primary winding are brought out the porcelain

bushing, for the structure with four outline terminals, the current ratio can be adjusted by

changing the connection method of the external connection parts on the porcelain bushing

(refer to Fig.1).the secondary winding is fixed on the bracket of oil tank after combination.

The transformer oil should be dewatered and degassed.
